Description
A leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company are seeking to appoint a Quality Manager to join their growing organisation. The family owned company have recently invested heavily on their manufacturing facility and are now seeking an experienced Quality Manager to drive the business forward.Reporting directly to the Head of Quality the Quality Manager would be responsible for three sites and assume the following responsibilities:
- Manage the site supplier audit program and take Lead auditor responsibility for API and other external audits
- Manage all aspects of supplier quality management for service providers and the purchase of starting materials Work with Head of Purchasing to effectively manage suppliers, improving supplier quality
- Work closely with the QC Manager and Head of QA, deputising for the Head of Quality where required
- Responsible for the maintenance of the Quality Management system to meet Company, Customer and Regulatory agreed realistic expectations.
- Drive continual improvement of QMS, product quality and processes
- Identify efficiency and quality improvements in own area of responsibility and implement required changes Maintenance of MIA
- Coaching of GMP principles throughout the business
- Manage, support and motivate the team to help them achieve their objectives.
- Participate in and take the lead in customer audits

To be considered candidates must have experience of quality systems, non-sterile liquids and cream manufacture, and must have previous management/leadership experience in a QA role.
