A leading global luxury hotel group currently have an urgent requirement for an E-commerce manager for a maternity cover contract (minimum 10 months)

My client is one of the best known luxury hotel groups in the world, with a presence in more than 80 countries and more than 25,000 employees. They aspire to be the best in everything they do and set the benchmark for luxury hospitality in every major city around the globe. This has seen the group establish themselves as the hotels of choice for millions of discerning travellers and city hopping businessmen alike.

An increasing element of this success has been down to the group embracing the potential of E-commerce, allowing their customers to experience exceptional levels of customer service and brand engagement through multiple channels. They run interactive websites, loyalty schemes, marketing campaigns (PPC,SEO) and affiliate programs unique to each hotel group so their online channel is a very fast paced area of the business.

Due to this, they are looking for a talented E-commerce manager to join the team on a fixed term contract while one member is away on maternity leave. You will be the main point of contact for regional teams in the execution of E-commerce activities - developing services such strategic linking, paid search, email and brand strategy as well as executing brand level e-promotions at both regional and local level in close collaboration with senior management.

The successful Ecommerce manager will most likely have the following responsibilities;

  • Manage brand websites with a focus on improving revenues from the online channel
  • Adhere to brand standards through the online channel whilst ensuring content is personalised for target market
  • Serve as the primary contact for all group hotels in the execution of E-commerce and marketing campaigns
  • Ensure strong ROI with the use of analytics tools such as Google Analytics
  • Work in collaboration with senior management and keep key stakeholders up to date in regards to project progress and roadblocks
  • Ensure established performance guidelines for the Ecommerce department are adhered to
