Our large direct Fortune 500 client is in need of a Sr. Vendor Analyst.
Senior Vendor Analyst
-Provides support to management through data consolidation, data analysis, and management reporting.
-Utilizes software to generate metrics and develops actionable recommendations.
-Provides support to research teams or management by collecting and analysing data and reporting results.
-Collaborates with various teams to achieve business results.
-Ensures vendor compliance with existing ITG policies.
-May perform other duties as assigned.
-Requires at least 7 years of experience.
Overview of Responsibilities:
Works as a point of contact for designated areas/projects and translates scope of work into Statement of Work (SOW) in working with vendors.
Assists with scope definition and project planning.
Thereafter supports and coordinates all tasks required to transition projects as per CGC engagement model.
Drives conversion of T&M contracts into outcome/SLA driven Fixed Price, Managed Services contracts. Has good understanding of sourcing models like Managed Services, Fixed Price engagements, with some outsourcing understanding.
Conducts feasibility studies, GAP analysis in designated areas and helps build business case for sourcing projects.
Tracks new and expected offshore transition demand from business units and partners with vendors to determine next steps and action items.
Performs vendor/product/services research and assists in vendor/product evaluation
Understands use case model and requirements development process to translate requirements into technical standards.
Collects and documents offshore infrastructure requirements early on in the planning and transition stages and translate them into requested formats that would make them easy to deploy on remote virtual desktops for provisioning team(s).
Coordinates risk assessment and impact analysis in working with Information Security team and vendors.
Coordinates implementation of risk controls identified across ITG as a result of such assessments. Analyzes and documents functional and technology gaps and helps improve processes, artifacts and program reporting.
Supports offshore program audits, conducted by internal compliance organizations and external auditors.
Supports program reporting, SOW reviews, planning tasks as requested.
Support new tools and technology implementation for sourcing maturity.
Required Skills and Experience:
1. Analyst with at least 6 years of IT experience
2. Strong technical and business skills with experience on business and process modelling.
3. Prior work experience in offshore setting with service providers and understanding of IT security, IT project and program managers, IT infrastructure, and IT compliance team members.
4. Good understanding of IT terminology and infrastructure-related terms.
5. Excellent communication, follow-up and documentation skills.
6. Demonstrated strong organization and follow through abilities; self starter.
7. Ability to handle multiple tasks on short deadlines; must be very detail oriented and open to making firm requests from other persons.
8. Motivated self starter who functions well in a fast paced, rapidly changing and collaborative team environment.
9. Strong MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Visio required.
10.B.A or B.S College Degree required

Overtime: straight time
- 7 years Vendor Analyst experience - including developing SOW's, Managed Service Agreements, Offshore projects, ensuring vendor compliance with corporate policies.
- Strong technical and business skills with experience in business and process modelling.
- Good understanding of IT terminology and infrastructure-related terms.
- Strong MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Visio required.
- B.A or B.S College Degree required
