Description
We are seeking a Stress Engineer for a contract position in Bristol, UK. Working with a tiered-one supplier to Airbus, you will bring your Stress Engineering expertise into an on-going project with a contract duration initially up until the end of the year but with extension potential. Candidates that are available immediately are much preferred.Responsibilities:
* Stress engineering
* Static calculations
* Stress and FEA analysis
* GFEM, DFEM etc
* Provide relevant documentation
Experience needed:
* 5 years of experience within Stress Engineering, at least two of which within Aerospace/on aircraft
* Patran
* Nastran
* Excel and VBA
* Excellent English communication
* Knowledge of Airbus methods and procedures
* Ability to provide technical documentation
* ASSIST, ISAMI etc would be a bonus
This has the potential to be a long term contract but requires an immediate start.
