Description
I am looking for an experienced MQ Administrator to join a top bank based inEdinburgh. The role will require you to come on board and help them with a new project within their business.Experience required
Technical knowledge of the environment (MQ on zMainframe) and associated technologies and the related standards and policies used to govern these technologies.
Knowledge of MQ on AIX, Linux and Windows platforms would also be desirable but not essential.
Knowledge of the technical and operational processes used to deploy, support and maintain the technical infrastructure and/or business application services.
Diagnostic skills and an ability to analyse technical information from multiple sources, allowing the provision of highly effective solutions in complex environments.
Strong quality and service focus.
Experience in delivering complex projects and / or incident recoveries.
Good communication skills (oral and written).
Demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills.
The right candidate will have proven experience performing these actions at a high level whilst working within a finance setting.
Contract Role: per day.
