Description
The client is a large financial Institution in Luxembourg requiring an expert in OpenEdge (Progress) for ad hoc on-site missions of duration of 5 days every 1 or 2 months on average + off-site support if possible.
Starting date: September 2013 Initial contract 3 months, extensions on a 3 months basis
Tasks/Responsibilities area:
To provide recommendations on the deployment and configuration of existing OpenEdge based applications in Production; To support the technical design of future and existing OpenEdge based applications, including their interfaces with other technologies (Java); To provide advices and best practices to the development process of OpenEdge based applications
Qualifications/Required Skills:
In depth expertise and experiences of OpenEdge (Progress) technology in similar tasks/responsibilities for medium to large projects; English speaking (but not necessarily fluent)
Additional Domain & Business Skills:
Integration Partner referenced with PROGRESS; Experience with Oracle database, SQL and PL/SQL; Experience with EJBs, XML technologies, JMS; Ability to work in an international environment; Good written and spoken English.
