One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a SAP Basis Administrator/Architect with ABAP and Java knowledge.
Please find some details below:
The SAP team in Belgium supports more than 150 SAP systems running on AIX (Oracle and DB2).
The candidate will be integrated in the third level support team and will participate actively in the coordination, support and deployment of projects.
He will perform enhancement support package installations, upgrades and migrations of SAP systems and will give support to our customers.
The knowledge of SAP ABAP and Java technology is really a prerequisite for the Job.
1) Technical skills:
- Experienced SAP Basis administration consultant
- Profound knowledge of SAP NetWeaver basis layer
- ABAP/Java technology knowledge required
- Experience with installations, system copy, support packages, enhancement packages, installations and upgrades
- Solid experience in term of problem, performance troubleshooting, solving.
- Experience with Unicode migrations and OS/DB migrations
- Knowledge of SAP BO suite and Sybase products are a plus
- SAP certification in SAP NetWeaver and OS/DB migration is a must
2) Leadership skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Assess risks and criticality of issues to appropriately prioritise issues
- Client oriented
- Good teaming and communication skills
- Open to new approaches and willing to share experience with team members
- Systematic perspective and standardised approach shouldn't be a surprise
3) Other skills:
- Fluent in English, both writing and speaking. Good knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus
- Stress resistant
- Flexible and willing to perform planned interventions outside of business hours
4) Participation in on-call rotation is required (+/- 1 week per quarter)
