Job description
Your mission consists in helping implementing new integrations in collaboration with business projects and application domains.
As such, you will carry out the following tasks:
- Act as a principal point of contact for the Integration delivery
- Responsible for project intakes with architects, also handover from account mgr role
- Make a work package estimate and planning of development of service integrations based on Tibco AMX technology, where we will provide the opportunity to learn and discover this technology.
- Plan the delivery of the different deliverables, agree on planning with internal customers
- Report on progress and status to internal customers and management
- Daily follow-up of the software development life cycle
- Work together with developers, testers ( which will be moving to an off-shore managed service ) and deployment team ( on-site)
- Initiate and track changes for the acceptance and production environment
- Anticipate potential project related problems
- Analyze new and complex project related problems
- Ensure that the development is delivering capabilities to project
- Helps in prioritization/manage bottlenecks if needed
- Enables and assures correct time booking for project activities, follow basic rules of booking
- Creates overview of ongoing projects, resources, timelines and shares this with other delivery manager, project organization, sr mgmt
- Aligning with project on defect fixing methodology
Your profile
Knowledge and experience
- You hold a university degree or a baccalaureate in information technology .
- You have at least 3 years experience in IT project delivery
- You have a basic understanding or experience of IT development concepts in application development using UML, JAVA, J2EE, XML, HTML, Web Services SOAP, JMS, HTTP.
- Having experience in financial application development is an asset
- You speak and write fluently English. A good understanding of French and/or Dutch is considered as an asset.
