Network Architect - CCIE SP (Service Provider)-Chicago(MY CLIENT DOES NOT SPONSOR A WORK VISA NOR RELOCATE CANDIDATES FROM OUTSIDE THEUSA)
Due to my client's continuous global growth, another network architect is needed on their highly accomplished team of network technologists. In this role, you will be working on a team of 4 architects based out ofChicagothat are responsible for my client's global low latency network. Your team will have multiple global projects contained to them and you will play a large part in my clients' global expansion and success. You will be working on the extreme side of latency / performance from an immature service provider's point of view - which is exactly what is going to make this role interesting!
Are you comfortable with issues like the BGP decision-making criteria, or route reflection? Want to be an architect for one of the most extremely complicated, scalable, and highly available ultra-low latency networks in the world?
Some of the big projects you will be working on:
- the migration of the network backbone from Cisco to Juniper
- MPLS/MRSVP on the global backbone
- some smaller network security projects
Your profile:
- BSc
- preferably CCIE SPcertified
- You have worked in Service Provider capacity network architecture
- you have at least between 5-8 years network engineering experience
- you LIVE BGP (design/architecture level)
- you are an expert in MPLS from a service provider perspective
- you love to work in an entrepreneurial environment that is not always structured
- working experience both with Cisco and Juniper
