This high profile education institution is looking for a dynamic and experienced Middleware Administrator to support a variety of Middleware products and services currently being utilised by the organisation. You will be responsible for the design, development, configuration, installation, troubleshooting, analysis and technical implementation of Servers, storage systems, load balancing, security, networking and application infrastructures within a distributed processing environment.

To be considered for this position candidates must possess/demonstrate:

  • Extensive experience with management of Middleware systems operating in a large complex environment, including BEA Weblogic, Oracle Application Server and/or Tomcat/Apache;
  • Software development experience with Linux, Apache, Tomcat or other J2EE applications;
  • Strong configuration, installation, troubleshooting, analysis and technical implementation of application infrastructures within a distributed processing environment;
  • Experience delivering solutions within multiple environments operating on diverse operating systems - especially with regards to: access and security, general support and maintenance and;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to liaise with team members at all levels.
