Our client is a successful business working within the groundworks, highways sector specialise in construction and reinstatement projects for transport network systems, in Greater London and all surrounding areas including, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Kent and Surrey. They work across a diverse range of sectors including site remediation and reclamation, architectural and structural design and consultancy, and hard landscaping for commercial and public spaces with projects ranging in value from £100k to £10m. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Site Engineer to join their team.ROLE
They require an experienced Site Engineer who will require setting out and delivering reports to the Project Manager of progress and any on site issues. You need to form a strong working relationship with the Project Management Teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Strong background in Groundworks, Civil Engineering mainly Highways
• Minimum of 3 years ideally 5years.
• Demonstrable experience of working with a Civil Engineering or Highways or Groungworks and established contractor in these fields.
• Be able to work under your own initiative and direction.
• You will also hold a valid CSCS card.
• Ideally degree qualified, or HNC / HND
• Computer literate - Word, Excel, MS Project, Conquest or similar estimating packages
• Experience in NEC3/JCT/ICE forms of contract.
