Description
We're looking for a fresh, motivated new member of our development team. You'll be joining a team of highly-skilled developers, designers and technologists at an interactive ad agency in Midtown Manhattan. Self-starters, strong communicators and people passionate about interactive marketing and development are encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, solid organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, work under pressure, coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines under stringent time constraints, and is efficient and attentive to detail.

As a member of one of our cross-disciplinary teams of designers, technologists, producers and strategists, you will be involved in projects from the earliest concepting phase all the way through deployment.

Assist with planning, and architecture of complex web and mobile solutions.

Explain the technical trade-offs of different approaches, including time estimates.

Write elegant and maintainable code.

Build websites with an in-depth understanding of navigation and SEO, typography, spatial orientation, image handling and manipulation, and basic design elements.

Work well with our team. Have a beverage with them after work.
Show off your skills:

You can code confidently in a LAMP environment

You can dominate Wordpress into submission to complex layouts and UI

You're able to translate wireframes and comps into data architecture

You're a PHP wizard and comfortable writing new functionality and plugins
-
You're a pro at CSS and front-end scripting (we're JQuery focused but friendly with all libraries)

You love tapping the latest APIs

You develop mobile, cross-browser and cross-platform compatible sites and web apps

You're comfortable with version controlled environments and teamwork
Brownie points for:

iOS development skills

Information architecture and wireframing

Experience with a Rackspace server setup
Required Experience:

3+ years of experience developing data-driven websites and apps
-
Agency experience is a big plus
