Our client is looking for an Oracle Database Administrator to provide technical leadership, data architecture and database administration expertise in support of the client's Program. 

This is position requires the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

Required Skills:
3+ years as an Oracle DBA
Oracle certification

Experience with
o Oracle PL/SQL
o Backup, Recovery, and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery strategy
o Data replication
o Oracle database performance optimization
o Storage optimization
o Failover clustering
o Database security
o Managing Oracle in virtualized environments

Knowledge of Oracle database performance optimization best practices
Experience in distributed systems environments
Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills

Responsibilities:
Engage directly with clients to explain hardware and software solutions, answer questions about features, processes, and practices as needed.
Work directly with business development teams during project envisioning/inception to come up with best solution and reasonable accurate time/cost estimates for project
Install and configure server operating systems, storage control/management applications, and Oracle software as required
Manage, maintain, patch and upgrade all Oracle database and application software
Configure backup and recovery, replication, and fault tolerance per business requirements
Self-management workload and work assignments
Ensure database and storage performance optimization
Evaluate/estimate work effort, control scope, identify risks, and resolve conflicts
Help to define and implement development and deployment best practices, standards and processes
Thoroughly document work completed using established team standards

Experience managing and patching the Oracle EBS platform and Oracle SOA Framework
Experiencing designing for both transactional and data warehousing applications
Experience creating ETL packages
Experience mentoring or guiding less experienced members of the team
Subversion source control
Microsoft Team Foundation Server 2010
Working knowledge/understanding of Microsoft SQL Server 2008R2/2012
