Description
An Indoor Coverage Design Engineer is required in Oslo, Morway on a 12 month contract with a major mobile operator. CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK A SCANDINAVIAN LANGUAGE.
Main responsibilities:
- Radio coverage planning of tunnels/indoor
- Design of tunnel and or indoor coverage systems
- TSS (Technical Site Survey)
- Repeater systems planning and optimisation
- Responsible for coordination of installation of radio coverage system
- Interfaced with TI subcontractor for scheduling and progress reporting as well as internal reporting
- Motivate TI subcontractors to conduct an efficient tunnel installation and timely activation
- Responsible for quality control of documentation
- Identifying both necks, and find solutions or escalate
- Follow up and escalation of action points based on meeting minutes with subcontractor
- Coordination of commissioning, integration and handover to operation department
- Punch list clearing
- Documentation handling and control
Requirements:
EDUCATION
MSc., BSc. in Electronics or equivalent experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Design of tunnel coverage systems
- Repeater systems planning and optimisation
- Repeater systems commissioning and integration
- Wright technical documentation. eg Design and As built documents
- Reporting
- Telecom System Knowledge
- Telecom Related Infrastructure Knowledge
- Experienced with antenna and feeder test equipment
