ROLE:

Sperry Partners Group has an several exciting opportunities within our Customer's Group Business Management Systems (GBMS) team, reporting to the Project Manager for Information Management Service Improvements Projects. The Service Management Technical Specialist is accountable for the value delivery of Service Now based technical solutions in support of the Customers Service Management project objectives. The Specialist will lead efforts to implement ServiceNow technical solutions necessary to automate processes and support the operation of end-to-end IT services and IT processes. The incumbent will participate in an enterprise-wide service management project and will closely collaborate with other project team members in the delivery of in scope capabilities.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Conform with the Customers Charter, the Customers Group Level Documents, Code of Conduct and relevant statutory obligations
  • Have an overriding commitment to health, safety and environment responsibility and to sustainable development
  • Participate in requirements gathering, design and implementation of service management capabilities
  • Based on requirements, able to build/document a holistic logical and physical ServiceNow design incorporating service models, ServiceNow applications, IT infrastructure, data models and other relevant designs that are particular to the Customers service management environment
  • Execute according to project schedule and manages timeline and communication during implementation
  • Assists the process team in the development of technology and automation requirements and advises on the selection and configuration of ServiceNow to underpin the process designs.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into ServiceNow system configuration requirements
  • Build and maintains broad and deep technical capability sufficient to advise on the service management design before and after the solution build is complete
  • Transfer expert level knowledge to team members and stakeholders
  • Support the project team resources with the skills and knowledge to continue ongoing process design activities of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Assists the Design Lead to develop detailed work breakdown structures, project plans based on templates and in estimating work effort for activities and project tasks.
  • Ensures clear understanding of assigned tasks and defined deliverables, estimates effort and timeline for assigned deliverables.
  • Reports potential delays promptly and presents alternative plans for avoiding or recovering from them through the Customers project toolset.
  • Regularly communicates with project stakeholders and provides opportunities for their input as it relates to assigned deliverables.
  • Actively contributes to project success, making suggestions and providing experienced advice where appropriate.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • The successful candidates will have strong understanding of ServiceNow and BSM solutions and the provision of industry experience in the use of ServiceNow platform and global/large scale deployment.
  • You would have demonstrated success in Service Management technical solutions and have significant experience in ServiceNow development and solution delivery.
  • You will have a proven track record for developing viable solutions (people, process, technology, information) with complex requirements.
  • You would have delivered ServiceNow solution set at a large global corporation and will be versed with current service management solution trends with ability to influence decisions.
    • Experience in system integration of one or more of the following technologies:
      • IVR systems
      • HP Quality Center
      • SAP Solution Manager
      • Event Monitoring/Management systems
      • CA Identity Manager
      • You will also be experienced in mentoring and developing team members
