The Company
Robert Half Management Resources are urgently looking to recruit an Interim CFO based in a South Manchester CCG business. The role is for a minimum period of 6 months.
The Role
The business offers an excellent opportunity for an Interim CFO to become involved in all financial aspects of the business. The successful candidate will a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 5 years post-qualification experience working at a strategic level. Experience of exposure to board/executive meeting environments and involvements in high level discussion is essential. You must have the ability to maintain effective and professional working relationships with audit, CCG colleagues, staff, primary care contractors, trusts and all other partner organisations. CCG/PCT experience is absolutely a must, as is in depth understanding of NHS accounting, including technical accounting issues. Main duties will include:Having a strategic overview of the CCGs business objectives ensuring that the allocation/prioritisation of resources supports effective delivery of all national and local objectives/targets. -Being self sufficient when using systems and understanding procedures ie ensuring the CCG has procedure notes in place for all financial systems and core finance functions. -Having a tight grasp on budgetary control. -Being responsible for statutory financial reporting, planning and production of the annual accounts process and associated financial returns ensuring compliance with DH directives, policies and timescales and the area team requirements.-Risk management/assurance framework.-Audit and fraud liaison.-Cash management.-Capital accounting. -Developing finance staff. -Research development and audit.
Salary & Benefits
The Interim CFO will receive £/day on a Ltd Co Basis.
