Description
A role exists for an experienced developer to work as part of a team on high profile projects within the Global Operations Technology group in Dublin.
The role will provide an excellent opportunity to work closely with internal business partners and develop an understanding of a wide range of financial instruments (including Derivatives, FX, Futures, Debt, Lending and Commodities). It will also provide an excellent opportunity to deliver tasks in a fast paced and AGILE technology environment. The role will also provide the opportunity to work on multiple projects simultaneously to best utilise the candidate's skills.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of an AGILE development team to deliver on brokerage and Back Office reporting
* You will work within a co-located team working directly with the internal business product owner team to deliver on the business requirements
* Work within the team to deliver the requirements and actively participate in providing feedback and estimates in the scrum team ceremonies.
* You will be responsible delivery of project items into production. This will involve providing user support and management during testing and post production.
Requirements
* SQL Server Management Studio (2008)
* Must have experience working in a SQL environment, financial services a distinct advantage.
* Experience designing and maintaining Business Intelligence solutions.
* ASP .NET a distinct advantage.
* Python skills an advantage.
* Experience of working within a team environment, specific AGILE team experiences an advantage.
* Experience of working closely with senior business users and delivering their requirements.
* Ability and desire to understand investment banking applications on all levels from database schema through to User Interface
