Description
We’re looking for a part-time writer to write reviews of website builders such as Weebly, Squarespace and Wix. Pay starts at $30 USD per hour. You can be located anywhere.
Design MattersWe believe that a great website builder is well designed. To borrow words from Jason Fried, a great website builder has “clear, smooth user user experiences, the right words in the right places and all the little touches that make an interface feel just right.”
For many people, building a website can be intimidating. But a great website builder makes this process approachable and friendly by being structured, coherent and easy to use. This is why design matters.
What You'll be Working On
You will write 2-5 reviews each month (depending on your desired workload).
Save People From the Jaws of 1&1 and GoDaddy
I don’t want to hate 1&1 and GoDaddy, but their website builders don’t make it easy. For example, here’s a few samples from our user reviews section:
- "I am being sent to a collections agency because 1&1’s customer service sucks and they refuse to cancel your service when requested. Really do not make the same mistake I made, PLEASE!! Avoid these clowns at all cost!"
- "Avoid these scammers. They make it virtually impossible to cancel your account within the 30 day 'free' trial period."
- "I am a reasonably intelligent person who owns a successful business. Trying to negotiate [GoDaddys website builder] is a nightmare!"
- "Hard to navigate through the [GoDaddy] website builder, cant find simple stuff, logging it to work on my site has become a chore! wish i had never chosen GoDaddy."
It sucks that people get stuck with bad website builders. We’re helping to stop that.
