Magazine as one of the fastest growing private companies in the U.S.Our client in Waverly, Iowa is looking for a VB.NET Developer to join their Application Development team. The ideal candidate will need to be strong with SQL Server, particularly working with SQL tables. SSIS experience is also highly preferred. Mainframe / DB2 experience would also be very helpful, but this is not required. The client is using a fat client desktop application in which 50+ data access layers need to be converted into SQL Server tables. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must.
Remote work is a possibility for this position; but the individual would need to be onsite initially for training and to build rapport with the team.
The initial contract will be approximately 3 months, with the potential for extension depending on business need and performance.
