Description

The Program Specialist is responsible for supporting the key activities related to providing energy efficiency opportunities for our customers. They will support staff with vendor contracts, customer communications, process documentation, training, budgeting, and other projects and program support activities as assigned.

Responsibilities include:
  • Identify and coordinate training opportunities for both internal employees and customers.
  • Develop and present training materials to vendors and internal employees.
  • Identify opportunities to promote Focus on Energy, our statewide energy efficiency program, and assist in development of marketing collateral.
  • Lead the development of formal program compliance reports for the Public Service Commission.
  • Administer contracts with vendors, assuring that services paid for are received, disputes are resolved, and bills are paid on time.
  • Work with Supply Chain on the development of third party contracts and regularly monitor contract performance to insure that Company standards are being met.
  • Manage program budgets
SKILLS

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • A minimum of a four-year degree, business administration or communication preferred
  • Candidates with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a professional marketing or communications environment preferred
  • Demonstrated competency in providing excellent customer service, leadership and working on cross functional teams
  • Highly effective written and verbal skills
  • Ability to effectively operate in a fast paced and ambiguous environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
