PeopleSoft Testing Lead, Bellevue, WA

  • Develops overall Testing Strategy and Approach to conform to the use of Test Director.
  • Determine Test Plans and test scenarios for each functional area.
  • Tracks Testing Progress.
  • Communicates overall testing status to the Program Office.
  • Responsible for resource management for all aspects of testing.
  • Responsible for developing the data verification and acceptance methods, procedures for handling test case failures, issue identification and resolution, and overall project. communication during testing activities.
  • Monitors the testing schedule.
  • Reporting Progress and Quality Tracking.
  • Test Script management and approval.
  • Manages defect review meetings and responsible for monitoring resolution.
  • Monitors defect tracking, helps to prioritize reported defects.
  • Manages various testing cycles for the following types of testing as per the SOW: Unit, System Integration, Acceptance and Parallel Tests. 
  • Oversees the test script planning, development, and execution activities to ensure testing activities are in accordance with the Objectives as outlined in the SOW and meets all the requirements included in the Requirements Traceability Matrix.
  • Reviews and approves the test scripts to ensure specialized testing as outlined in the SOW is included.
  • Manages the test execution, monitors the progress of testing activities, and ensures that the test results and problems are logged.
  • Participate in daily status meetings with the Functional Program Office.
