Corporate Receptionist

Our client, a leading Global IT Company is searching for a Corporate Receptionist to provide short term holiday from the end of September.

As a Corporate Receptionist, you will be demonstrating your previous experience of working on a professional reception desk providing first class service.

The ideal candidate would have an established background as a Corporate Receptionist and will be available to work from 8.30am to 5pm on the following dates -

27th September to 9th October inclusive.

As a Corporate Receptionist your responsibilities will include -

  • To provide a warm, courteous and prompt welcome on arrival for all visitors at the Reception desk and all internal/external customers ensuring that any security procedures are followed.
  • To handle all incoming telephone calls/enquiries promptly, giving a warm, courteous welcome and using agreed salutation.
  • To raise building service requests as required.
  • To ensure that all work areas are clean, tidy and safe. To follow the health, safety, fire & security procedures.
  • Deal with all catering requests, received by e-mail/phone, ensuring all associated administration is complete.
  • Order catering through the external Caterers used.
  • To deliver/layout catering requirements as and when required for meetings ie Hot/Cold Beverages, biscuits, snacks and pre-prepared catering.
  • Prepare Tea/Coffee/Biscuits as required for Meeting Room bookings.
  • To ensure all catering equipment including catering crockery are cleaned and ready for the following day's events. If equipment is unable to be cleaned at the end of the working day, it is a requirement that the equipment is cleaned the following day, prior to the day's events.
  • To provide general housekeeping duties to each room following a meeting.
  • To lay out Meeting Rooms as required for meeting.
  • To maintain site Catering Vending Machines, carrying out required hygiene cleans. Check, replenish and order stock as required. Total monies and complete all associated administration.

Suitable candidates will have a passion for providing elite front of house service with a can-do attitude. Attention to detail is key and you should work in a flexible and pro-active manner at all times
