Description
Our client is a large professional services business based in Yorkshire.
The successful candidate will assure the client achieves its business goals by managing third party suppliers and their deliverables across a portfolio of client assignments. As part of this role the candidate will be required to manage the day to day activity with suppliers and procure the most appropriate supplier in each instance. This will require constant interaction with suppliers, clients and across a breadth of internal functions.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar function and a good understanding of best practices within procurement. The candidate should be a confident communicator and be able to build and maintain strong relationships both internally and with clients and be driven towards continuous improvement and transformation. Strong analytical and problem solving skills are also essential along with a strong customer focus and commercial awareness.
There is a strong chance that this role will become permanent.
