Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
Duration: 3 months (contracts are offered on a rolling 3 month basis)
Rate: Up to £30p/h
Location: Cheshire
I am currently seeking a senior mechanical design engineer to join an expanding design team in the marine industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on multiple key mechanical projects, whilst producing a variety of mechanical design solutions for a client based in Cheshire.
Working under the mechanical engineering management, the main responsibilities of the role will be to design products using SolidWorks and Inventor packages for use and implementation in the marine industry, your role will play an integral part in driving the business forward. You will become a key part of a busy design team in an environment that values experience and initiative in previous projects. Key Requirements
. Experience of CAD design packages Inventor and Solid Works are essential for this role, please note these are the packages currently used by the company
. A history of marine and nuclear design is preferable in this role, experience of working with GD&T tolerance systems as well as door and fire barrier systems would be an advantage for candidates.
