Description
DutiesUnder the supervision of the MCMC Director, the consultant will work on projects and deliverable for the MCMC team, including but not limited to compendia surveillance and related document updates, fact checking, literature searches, medical/scientific writing, developing and maintaining the CER database, and other projects as assigned. Ensure activities are carried out in full compliance with internal SOPs, training, best practices, and industry guidelines
Skills
- Previous real world work experience is required; previous professional work experience strongly preferred
- Able and willing to work during the school year on a part time basis
- Knowledge, experience or interest in Managed Care and/or Drug Information preferred
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills - verbal/presentation and written
- Possess solid skills in computers (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and learning new systems
- Demonstrate professional, confident, and highly effective interpersonal communication and interaction
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects; expected to work independently and collaborate with others and in teams; demonstrate attention to detail; make sound decisions appropriate to level; driven to deliver results
- Must convey a professional attitude and maturity; be flexible and self-motivated; thrive in an intense work environment
- Impeccable ethics and integrity; ability, comfort and commitment in operating in a highly regulated environment which requires understanding of the imperative for compliance with company policies, procedures and other relevant internal or external laws, regulations and the like.
Education
- Doctor of Pharmacy candidate who has completed 1 or 2 years of the program (current P1 or P2)
- BS degree in the life sciences or equivalent combination of education and experience
