One of the largest Federal Government departments is looking to appoint an experienced ICT Security Specialist to join their dedicated and talented team in Canberra on a long term contract. You will be the key player in providing subject matter expertise and strategic support for the development of the department's security.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for, but not limited to;
- Contributing to risk assessment and mitigation strategies for current and forward ICT work plans and/or programmes/projects
- contributing to the development and validation and the measurement of security controls for ICT projects
- contributing to the development of the ICT enterprise architecture and related ICT capability systems
- taking responsibility for (or supporting) the development of technical products required for RFT/RFI/EOI activities
- producing (or contributing to) roadmaps and recommendations related to ICT investments and system development life cycles
The successful candidate will need to meet the following criteria;
- Experience in one or more of the following domains: Security architecture; Information Technology Security Advisor; ICT Security Incident Management; Information Technology Security Management; Systems Certification; Network architecture (WAN/MAN/LAN); Gateway system architecture; Mobile system architecture
- Extensive technical skills and experience in ICT security architecture and design;
- Previous responsibility for delivering major components of large ICT system programs/projects
- Understanding of the ICT system life cycle Cradle to grave
- Broad understanding of technologies and how they can be applied to solve business problems and meeting the security requirements.
