eLearning Technologist (Web Developer)
Six month contract (likely to extend or convert)
Mountain View, CAOur client is seeking an eLearning technologist for 6 month contract to help design, develop and maintain dynamic training websites and interactive eLearning activities. This person must be able to work seamlessly from Back End development to implementing user interfaces. The eLearning technologist must be a team-player, able to collaborate with instructional designers in fast-paced projects, and to liaise with non-technical clients.
There are two positions open and the team would be open to hiring one candidate with stronger Front End skills (HTML, CSS and JavaScript, UX) and one with stronger Back End skills (JavaSript, Python, database/CMS integration)

Responsibilities:
- Create Front End interfaces with HTML, Javascript and JQuery
- Use Django and Python to develop and integrate systems
- Use HTML, XML, JSON, CSS and Javascript to build interactive eLearning
- Create UI mockups/UX flows
- Develop the infrastructure required, including databases and schemas
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Education, Computer Science, Graphic Design, Interaction Design or equivalent.
- HTML5, CSS3
- Javascript, JQuery
- Python
- Django
- UI/UX for multiple devices
- Database design and integration
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Must provide portfolio with work samples
- Preferred Experience:
- Consulting and stakeholder management
- Experience developing with the AppEngine
- Familiarity with metrics and Google Analytics
