Immigration Advisor, Middlesex, up to £240 LTD day rate, 12+ month FTC covering maternity.

My client, a leading blue chip organisation, is looking to appoint a flexible and efficient Immigration Advisor to cover maternity.

The organisation currently uses the services of a professional UK immigration vendor to act as their representative in processing all work permit applications and has responsibility for tracking of visa types and expiry dates. You'll have a close working relationship with the immigration vendor team as well as building strong relationships with the businesses and providing them with education and training on UK immigration processes as well as answering day to day questions on the topic.

Key duties and responsibilities.
Act as point person within IM team to receive all instructions from IM Globally and hiring teams within the UK for immigration assessments by our immigration provider. Manage the application process and act as conduit to all enquiries from Immigration provider. Work closely with the immigration provider and IM Immigration lead to become authoritative on UK Immigration and any changes which need implementing. Understand recruitment and resourcing processes for interviewing and hiring new candidates and how the immigration criteria can be met in a timely manner. Produce letters of confirmation of employment in support of Immigration applications. Track transfer of conditions applications for role changes, new passport applications for UK hosted employees, and significant salary changes for work permit holders.

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following skill set:

Significant knowledge and experience of UK Immigration and applications under Tiers 1 and 2 as a UKVI Sponsor license holder. Project management experience, ideally leading internal audits. Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders. Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Excellent team work and ability to prioritise. Excellent telephone manner & clear communication skills. Experience of working with Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of SAP would be beneficial.
