Regulatory Change Programme Director - East Midlands/London (Both locations will need to be visited for a 2/3 day split during the week)

My Client is a Global Retail Bank looking for an experienced Regulatory Change Programme Director. This individual will be tasked to work on a large Regulatory programme in response to new requirements set out by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), following the cease of power from it's predecessor, the Financial Services Authority (FSA).

The Programme Director will be required to manage several large and imperative Change initiatives that are required to be carried out in relation to new regulations set out by the FCA. These will include but are not restricted to:

- Directing a bank-wide roll out of significant regulatory changes that have been set by the FCA

- Ensuring that the bank is responding correctly and efficiently in line with the FCA's regulations around conduct related to the marketing of the Bank's financial products.

- Ensuring compliance is being adhered to in line with the Prudential Regulator Authority's (PRA) new requirements.

- Ensuring new requirements set in place in relation to the Consumer Credit Act, and other consumer focused regulation, are fully understood by the whole bank and that very detailed information stemming from legal and compliance SME's are sufficiently and succinctly articulated to the Executive Committee on the programme.

Essential experience

- Must have previously acted in a Programme Director level position with in Regulatory driven Programmes, delivering large Change initiatives - candidates must be comfortable to come in at day 1 and "do" as opposed to "finding their feet"

- Must be comfortable communicating with Executive level Stakeholders and translating detailed regulatory information clearly and concisely

- Must have experience of working within Retail Banking
