The Organisation:

FinXL IT Professional Services is an established innovative Australian company providing technology enabled business solutions and consulting services across a number of industries including Telecommunications, Government and Finance.

The Role:

FinXL currently are looking to engage a standout Perl developer to work on one of their key client sites, providing expertise within a fast moving agile delivery environment across the development team.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a unique environment that is has interesting development projects in the government industry

The position will suit someone who is delivery focused that likes to work in a collaborative team environment and drive the success of an organisation. To be successful, you will need to have demonstrable commercial experience relating to Perl development.

Skills and Experience required:

 Proven experience in developing web applications in PERL and MVC frameworks
 Proven experience in technologies like HTML/CSS/JavaScript/SQL/jQuery
 Proven experience in designing and developing web applications using AJAX-like technologies
 Proven experience with PERL libraries like Catalyst, Template Toolkit, DBIx Class and POE;
 Proven experience in database management especially PostgreSQL
 use of source control software like subversion
 Linux server administration.
