The Organisation:
FinXL IT Professional Services is an established innovative Australian company providing technology enabled business solutions and consulting services across a number of industries including Telecommunications, Government and Finance.

The Role:
FinXL currently are looking to engage a standout Helpdesk Support Analyst to work on one of their key client sites based at Greenacre. The position will suit someone who is customer service focused and likes to work in a collaborative team environment and drive the success of an organisation. To be successful, you will need to have demonstrable commercial experience as a hands-on IT technician.

Accountabilities:
Undertake the installation and maintenance of voice telephone equipment, telemetry systems, and computer based control systems; IP network equipment and miscellaneous electronic equipment to ensure network requirements are met.
Undertake systems testing and development, as well as planning new installations and services.
Liaise with equipment and service providers, relevant IT network managers and operational staff to coordinate installation, maintenance and repair services.
Provide primary technical support to manage the commissioning of new sites and new or renewed installations, to ensure these sites are fully operational. supervise contractors, as required, to ensure compliance with service level agreements and policies, procedures and technical standards.
Manage the commissioning of new NSW sites and new or renewed installations to ensure these sites are fully operational.
Participate in the installation and review of vendor installed equipment in order to learn about new equipment and to conduct acceptance testing prior to commissioning (as required). Skills and

Experience required:
substantial experience in installing, repairing and maintaining communications
Demonstrated understanding of IP network, telephone, PABX, telemetry networks and Microprocessor and computer based systems.
Knowledge of analogue and digital electronics circuit design.
strong research, analytical, problem solving and organisational skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical problems and maintenance issues.
Good oral and written communication skills including interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
Demonstrated computer skills with a working knowledge of relevant word processing, spread sheets and database software.
Current NSW Drivers Licence
Diploma or diploma level or an equivalent or higher Nationally Recognised Training qualification with several years experience, or undertaking TAFE diploma in related discipline after having completed Trade certificate 3.

Due to the mission critical nature of the government agency's communications network and services, must be able to work to a roster for after hour's callouts to ensure ongoing availability
