Jump on board one of the largest cutting edge online initiatives in the Australian market.
Due to ongoing online projects in the online banking space we are looking for strong Front End web developers to join a high calibre team. In this role you will work closely with architects, UX designers and product developers to design and build best-of-breed web and mobile applications. You will have an appreciation for visual design and user experience. You will be an expert Front End web developer, with strong HTML and CSS coding skills. You will also have very strong Javascript skills, Javascript design patterns and good knowledge of Objected Oriented programming principles.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with application and SOA architects to understand the design
- Work with designers to convert detailed mock-ups into fully functioning production ready code.
- Develop online user interfaces for web and mobile products
- Integrating Front End designs with Back End services and content management systems
Required Experience
- Creating large scaled applications with a large numbers of users
- Designing and delivering cutting edge online products for large scale websites.
- Developing web applications with rich client interfaces using HTML5, AJAX, drag and drop, and other DOM Scripting techniques
- .NET and Microsoft Technologies
- Web Services (REST, SOAP, XML-RPC)
- Strong understanding of browser standards and compatibility best practice
- Expert JavaScript skills including frameworks such a JQuery for rapid prototyping
Desirable Experience
- Exposure to continuous delivery practices and principles
- Experience developing for iOS and Android platforms will be highly regarded
