A new 9 month contract opportunity has arisen for a Change Implementation Manager to join this large scale Queensland State Government Organisation based in Brisbane CBD.

The Change Implementation Manager will be required to to lead and effectively manage the change management, training and communications activities, initially for two major business critical projects within the Department.

Key Responsibilities for the Change Implementation Manager will include the following:
Completing the initial complexity assessment to scope out the level of change required across both projects
Coordinate all change activities during the implementation phase, including but not limited to: Developing the stakeholder and business impact analysis and areas of business resistance Developing, planning and delivery of strategies and activities to assist the business in the transition Developing a stakeholder analysis and engagement strategy including communications action plans Developing and executing all project communications activities as per the communications plan Planning of the training requirements and developing training plans and schedules to deliver the training Developing the required training packages and executing the training as required
Coordinating project and business resources involved in carrying out the change management activities Working with the project manager and other project team lead resources to ensure all implementation and support activities are coordinated
Ensuring the business processes and procedures are being developed and will be executed for the business to access prior to or during the change
Escalate any change management related issues and risks accordingly
Establishing and/or contributing to the business readiness plan
Developing tools to measure the change uptake and realise the business benefits to the project and develop strategies for any areas of resistance
Plan and coordinate the close out activities of the project in consultation with the project manager eg conduct learnings workshops and contribute to the close out report of the project

To be successful for this role you will require the following key technical skills and experience: Demonstrated experience in change implementation, planning and management through defining and managing the process for deploying and integrating business and IT capability in a way that is sensitive to, and fully compatible with, business operations.
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder relationship management through the coordination of relationships with and between key stakeholders, during the design, management and implementation of business change.
Demonstrated experience in organising and planning by developing and applying techniques for planning for individual/team activities, people, finances and physical resources to achieve organisational goals
Demonstrated experience in a team lead capacity with a focus on delivering project specific outcomes, ensuring identified
