Description
The world'd leading electronics company is looking for a sevrer engineer to join their team of 8.Responsibilities:
- work with designers/producers to define web APIs which enable social gaming experiences
- design and implement scalable web applications
- be involved in all phases of delivery, including functional and scalability testing, deployment to Production, operations and updates post-launch
- solve problems and learn.
The following skills and experience are desirable :
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
- experience in Java web application development
- SQL (eg. MySql, Oracle) and/or NoSQL (eg. Cassandra, Redis) database design/optimisation
- knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP (REST, JSON/XML) and Linux
- experience in Ruby/Node.js web application development and/or functional programming (eg. Erlang/Scala)
- scalability in web applications (performance-tuning, scaling)
- cloud hosting environments/services (eg. AWS/AppEngine)
- tenacity, enthusiasm and effective communication.
