My client has an immediate need for an EDRMS Implementation Manager to join their team on an initial 12 month fixed term assignment, with a likely extension for an additional 6-12 months.

Experience with ELO EDRMS would highly benefit, although experience with other Electronic Document Records Management Systems such as TRIM, Objective or Documentum would also suffice.

The EDRMS Implementation Manager will work within the Operations Divisionn and will work with staff at all levels to ensure that information and records are leveraged in a way that allow staff to work towards my clients strategic plan.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Sound experience with managing EDRMS project implementations, preferably in a large scale environment. This includes a sound understanding of the drivers for using an EDRMS, as well as the challenges, risks, and solutions for success.
  • Sound experience as an EDRMS functional administrator, understanding how to apply records management best practice and innovative use of the system in meeting my clients needs.
  • Understanding of system integration and data migration issues as they relate to EDRMS implementation, and the ability to advise and help scope such integrations
  • Sound knowledge of physical and electronic records management standards, legislation and compliance requirements, and a general understanding of sentencing, archiving and disposal of files per legislation.
  • Ability to undertake process analysis in business teams as related to records management, with a focus on documentation, advice, and improvement.
    Ability to provide all records and EDRMS related training to staff on all levels, focusing on user and museum needs.
  • Sound oral and written communication skills, analytical ability, organisation skills and the ability to lead and work in a small team.
  • Currently studying or have completed studies in Records and Information Management leading to recognised qualifications (Certificate, Diploma or Degree).
  • Tertiary qualifications in Records/Information/Knowledge Management will be highly regarded.

This is excellent long term opportunity to work across a large scale EDRMS implementation project as the Implementation Lead/Manager. Experience across EDRMS databases such as ELO, TRIM, Objective and Documentum would highly benefit. This role must start by early September.
