A highly-regarded QLD Government department is seeking an experienced Business Process Analyst for their Brisbane office. You will perfrom the analysis and documentation of business processes related to their ICT requirements. You will take a lead role in the development of ICT system requirements specifications, including logical design.

Your responsibilities will include (but won't be limited to) the following:

  • Assist project stakeholders to prepare business cases;
  • Investigative work to determine and document business processes and ICT requirements, contributing to organisational change;
  • Provide a high level of expertise in establishing and documenting ICT business and system requirements through a range of structured research and analysis techniques;
  • Provide a high level of expertise in establishing and documenting ICT business and system requirements and
  • Where required, initiate communications between stakeholders, acting as a single point of contact.

Key skills/experience required:

  • Demonstrated experience with investigative work to determine business requirements and specify effective business processes;
  • Demonstrated well-developed communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, including the demonstrated experience in conducting workshops, maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders;
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and validating multiple requirement types;
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse business cases and
  • Demonstrated experience and practical understanding of SDLC & PRINCE2

This is a rare 10 month contract, with an option for 2x 2 month extensions. Work within a great team environment at receive excellent hourly rates!
