Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled WebSphere MQ Support Engineer to join a global investment bank as part of team responsible for providing business and product support for their distributed environment (Linux, AIX, Windows).
My client is looking for an Engineer who has expert MQ administration knowledge, including solid understanding of clustering, pub/sub and SSL. Candidates should have strong experience supporting critical systems in a 24x7 environment with good experience in Triage, Vendor management and performance monitoring/tuning.
Previous financial services experience is highly preferred.
Key Skills:
*WebSphere MQ administration, including solid understanding of clustering, pub/sub and SSL.
*z/OS
*WMQ in distributed environment, predominantly; Linux, AIX and Windows.
*IBM Message Broker on z/OS and Unix
*Operational front line business support.
*Strong track record in Middleware technologies
Advantageous:
*Experience with Tibco RV
*Experience with WMQ in distributed environments OpenVMS and Solaris.
*Solid understanding of High Availability methodology for z/OS and Unix.
*IBM DataPower administration
