Description
CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified Financial Analyst required by this market leading business in Nottingham to look at costs.
You will be primarily responsible for all aspects of accounting, reporting, forecasting and control of the operations cost base. You will be delivering value-add analysis to stakeholders as well as driving improvements and efficiencies.
Key responsibilities:
* Assist the Business Partners in the compilation of budgets and forecasts
* Perform month end duties including journal posting, calculation of recharges and production of management reports
* Provide analysis to cost centre managers, and explain variances to budget and provide financial advice leading to tight management of cost base to allow budget targets to be met
* Develop and produce innovative management reporting
* Manage and support ad-hoc financial projects
You will have excellent commercial, presentation and communication skills, with the ability and confidence to liaise with other members of finance and senior stakeholders. You will be adaptable, with the ability to learn new skills quickly and able to reengindeer processes where appropriate to improve efficiencies.
