Firmware Engineer - Electronics Design Engineer - Power Electronics - Matlab/Simulink - CONTRACT
My long standing client, a global force in their industry are urgently looking to secure an experienced Firmware Engineer/Electronics Design Engineer on a Contract basis to join an R&D team who are about to embark on a new long term Development project.
This is an urgent Contract but we can wait up to 4 weeks for the right person. Initially 6 months on offer with extensions likely for at least 12-24months +.
We are ideally looking for a mix of the below skills in order of Priority:
1. An experienced Firmware Engineer/Electronics Designer - ideally with he ability to write in Verilog (VHDL will be considered)
2. A general understanding of Power Electronics/Converters - IGBT's, Topolgies, Testing of PE Circuits etc
3. Ability to Simulate PE Circuits
4. Use of/Design/Exposure to Matlab/Simulink (as an interface)
5. Support Testing phase in general - investigation/review/documentation
6. Personality traits - Team player, enthusiastic, passionate
