Civil Engineer (CSCS/Streetworks Tickets/NRSWA/HIAB/7.5 tonne lorry licence/mini-digger ticket)
Grimsby, Lincolnshire and Hucknall, Nottinghamshire
Our client, a global outsourcing organisation is urgently seeking 4 Civil Engineers to be based in Grimsby and 4 Civil Engineer to be based in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire. These are both initial 6 month fixed term opportunities with possible extensions.
Responsibilities:
*Install all customers' services;
*Educate the customer on services installed and ensure all services are operating to the customers' satisfaction;
*Self-audit all work and ensure it meets all applicable technical and operational quality standards;
*Ensure vehicles are not over-loaded or otherwise pose a risk;
*In-depth experience of residential install activity.
Skills Set:
- HIAB licence/ticket
- CSCS card
- NRSWA, street works ticker
*Construction/cable/utilities/groundworks background (or equivalent);
*Proactive in the resolution of engineering obstacles, conferring with supervisor;
*Customer focused;
*Flexible;
*Experience with: CSCS Card, Streetworks Tickets (NRSWA), Cable Works, Construction Work, Laying Cable, Cable TV work, Construction of chambers and street cabinets;
*7.5 ton Lorry Licence/Mini Digger/HGV Licence (desirable) - for towing machines;
*Experience with cabling - fibre optic preferred but not essential.
