Green Light iscurrently looking for an experienced and TSPV cleared Quality Assurance Managerwith solid skills in Provision the planning, management and implementation ofquality assurance mechanisms in support of technically orientated projectswithin a program of work for an IT program based in Canberra.The QualityAssurance Manager is responsible for ensuring that, in consultationwith stakeholders and subject matter experts, program and project deliverables (bothtechnical and no-technical) are suitable for the intended purpose and thatfirst time mistakes are eliminated.
TheQuality Assurance Manager will be expected to assist with the delivery ofbusiness outcomes to a dynamic business unit. Planning and delivery activitywill require the successful candidate to remain flexible and adaptive whileensuring suitable oversight is provided. The position will involve working withbusiness stakeholders, program members, and development teams.
Major Responsibilities
Providemechanisms to ensure quality assurance across a range of program outputsincluding but not necessarily limited to:
- Ensuring that systems delivered matchthe customer requirements to their satisfaction
- Assuring Program documentation andartefacts complies with internal conventions and policies
- Liaising with stakeholders on qualityexpectations and standards
- Monitoring engineering processes andmethods
- Coordinating and running meetings withkey business partners and stakeholder groups
- Presenting plans and conductingreviews
- Preparing status reports for theprogram management team, business stakeholders and senior officers.
- Work with other keybusiness partners and stakeholders to identify and implement a Branch andpotentially a corporate Quality Assurance program.
- Preparestatus reports for the program management team, business stakeholders andsenior officers.
- Advisethe program management team on issues requiring attention, and implementmanagement decisions.
Major skills required:
- Demonstrated experience inprovisioning Quality Assurance in both industry and Government is desirable.
- Experience working inInformation and Communication Technologies (ICT) and potentially cyber securityis desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in developingand managing Test and Quality strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in developing,managing and implementing test and quality plans.
- Quality management up to but notincluding ISO9000.
- Excellent demonstrated written andoral communication skills including working and negotiating with seniorstakeholders.
- Presentation skills of a high calibre.
- Ability to communicate effectivelywith business and technical audiences.
- Administrative skills, including timemanagement.
- Ability to effectively prioritise andallocate tasks.
- Ability to successfully manage allworking relationships.
- Must have essential certifications and qualifications
- Must have TSPV security clearance.
