Description
My client, a large oil & gas service company, is urgently searching for experienced Software Engineers for a contract-to-hire role to start as soon as possible. Contract length will be between 6-12 months, followed by a permanent hire. The role will be based in the Galleria area in Houston, TX. Interviews (2 stages) as early as next week.We are looking for candidates with extensive experience and knowledge of software design, information systems architecture, object oriented design, agile software development processes and methodologies.
Required/Desired experience as follows:
- Experience has a Microsoft .NET C# desktop developer
- 5 years commercial experience
- MS .NET 2.0-4.5
- Skilled in Winforms & WPF
- OOAD, Design Patterns & Architecture
- TDD & Mocking framework
- C++ & Fortran experience a plus
- Upstream oil & gas software experience a plus
