In this highly visible role, the candidate will be hands-on and manage a team of Business Analysts and face off to various business SMEs to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications. The Senior Business Analyst will identify opportunities for enhancing COO & Business Management efforts through process and technology improvements and redesign. By working directly with technical and business architects, as well as the business units, the Business Analyst will conceptualize and formulate appropriate solutions to business problems.Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a technical or business major is required.
* A minimum of 10 years of experience in business analysis with 3+ years as lead business analyst for major technology initiatives in the financial industry.
* Experience in Finance, IT Budgets & Forecasting Process * Experience with data analysis and hands-on SQL skills are strongly preferred.
* Extensive experience of business analysis best practice methods and tools such as MS Visio/ UML for the elicitation and documentation of requirements and design.
* Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (Agile preferred).
* Able to show examples of providing direction, support, influence and mentoring to a core team of business analysts.
* Excellent communication skills are essential, with strong verbal and writing proficiencies.
* Demonstrated ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and lead through influence and direct management.
* Strong work ethic, self-starter, and results orientation.
