A new 9 month contract opportunity has arisen for an Information Analyst to join this large scale Queensland Government Organisation based in Brisbanes CBD.

The Information Analyst will be required to develop all information models, information requirement and (where necessary) business requirement documentation required to support the procurement phase of the project currently in progress..

Further Key Responsibilities for the Information Analyst will be as follows;

  • Contributing to all information analysis activities required during the implementation phase of the project
  • Development of the information models, information requirement and (where necessary) business requirement documentation required to support the procurement phase of the project
  • Participate in the assessment of responses received during the procurement phase of the project
  • Contribute to the development of specialist and management project products required during the implementation phase of the project
  • Work with business stakeholders, the Principal Business Systems Analyst and other project team leads to assure the overall direction and integrity of information analysis related project products

To be successful for this role you will require the following key experience and relevant skills;

  • Proven ability to analyse the information aspects of business processes and systems. In particular, the ability to effectively identify the information entities, relationships and information flows via the analysis, design and development of information models and information requirements specifications.
  • Previous experience in the evaluation, selection and implementation of large scale Commercial off the Shelf  (CotS) ICT products.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a project team to deliver project specific outcomes, ensuring identified outcomes and timelines can be met
  • Proven experience in the provision of high level and professional communication, advice and feedback to project customers and project stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and manage strong working relationships and networks both within the organisation and other public sector agencies.
  • Previous experience relating to Portfolio, Program, Project and Contract Management processes and systems, particularly in a transport or infrastructure delivery environment will be highly regarded.
  • Previous experience and knowledge/qualifications relating to information modelling techniques and methods will be highly regarded.
