This expanding international organisation is currently seeking 5 Mainframe Computer Operators due to growth to join their team on an initial contract to go to 30 June 2014 and will be based in their clients office!
This role will mainly focus on providing support on a 24/7 rotating roster working roughly 38 hours per week. The main technologies you will be supporting are Mainframe and mid-range systems!
To be considered for this role, you will have the following background experience:
- Prevous background and experience working in a computer operator role within a 24/7 rotating roster environment
- Security clearance, minimum base line level or NV1
- Sound knowledge and experience working with IBM Mainframe hardware and software in and MVS (z/os) environment
- Knowledge or working experience with; operations, Tivoli workload scheduler, DB2, CICS, JES2 and JCL
- Basic knowledge on Windows, Unix, SAP, Unisys, Solve: central and HP Service Manager operating experience will be considered an advantage.
