Description
Next Ventures are currently looking for a Senior OpenEdge/Progress resource to join a 6 month project based in Luxembourg.Tasks/Responsibilities area:
- To provide recommendations on the deployment and configuration of existing OpenEdge based applications in Production.
- To support the technical design of future and existing OpenEdge based applications, including their interfaces with other technologies (Java)
- To provide advices and best practices to the development process of OpenEdge based applications
Qualifications/Required Skills:
- In depth expertise and experiences of OpenEdge (Progress) technology in similar tasks/responsibilities for medium to large projects
- English speaking (but not necessarily mother tongue)
Additional Domain & Business Skills:
- Integration Partner referenced with PROGRESS
- Experience with Oracle database, SQL and PL/SQL
- Experience with EJBs, XML technologies, JMS
- Ability to work in an international environment
- Good written and spoken English
