Experienced Network Engineer required to provide BAU support to the Network infrastructure for this financial services organisation based in North Sydney.

Reporting to the IT Services Manager this position will be responsible for the continual improvement and ongoing maintenance of security and general network services with a focus on reliability and availability.

You will be able to demonstrate in-depth experience with the following:

 5 years of hands-on experience designing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining F5 LTMs in an enterprise environment.
 Implementing SSL and mutual client authentication.
 Experience configuring up iRules & TCL Scripting
 Strong skills in Check Point FW, Clustering and working with appliances.
 Experience working with various technologies & protocols (VPN, IPSec, 802.1q, Frame Relay, ISDN, QOS, VRRP and  routing protocols - EIGRP, VRF,OSPF & BGP)
 Understanding of Security principles, domains, zones and customer connections.
 Worked BAU in Enterprise environments with experience in Perimeter Security.
 A practical level of experience implementing and administrating common TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, etc.
 Working knowledge of common network monitoring and security utilities.
 Sound knowledge of routing and switching.
 Good documentation and Visio skills.
 Commitment to change management.
 Customer service attitude and focus.
 Datacentre Maintenance and provisioning requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required as well as a demonstrated ability to problem solve and exercise judgement while working independently.
