Description
Multiple OSS Test Engineer opportunities are available working with a leading Telecommunications organisation based in Melbourne's CBD. These are initial 12 Month contracts with the opportunity for permanent or extensions.
Key responsibilities include:
- documentation of test strategies and test specifications
- Test environment - identify and organise all environmental need before testing begins
- test execution - execute test based on test specification documents defined in test strategy and test plan documents
- progress reporting - update test progress spread sheets and escalate blocking issues
- customer interface - review customer test documentations and provide support during customer's testing phase
To be successful you will have the following:
- Australian Citizenship (to gain basic Security Clearance)
- Experience working with OSS Applications such as IBM Netcool, IBM TNPM, IBM ITNM, ITM, HP Service Management and enPortal (Not all required)
- SQL and Oracle DBA knowledge highly desirable
- Knowledge of test mythologies (feature test, integration test, acceptance test)
- Good working knowledge of HPQC
- Ability to articulate technical issues in general manner
- Tertiary/university degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Telecommunications and experience working in telecommunication or relevant field.
