Link Technologies is currently seeking a Sr. Programmer Analyst for a position with a high-profile client in Carson City, NV. The Senior Programmer Analyst will be involved in System Integration Testing, review of programming assignments and as a technical resource in determining the appropriateness of a solution
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Programming solutions using Oracle Forms and Reports;
- Record activity in the Department's ATS tracking system;
- Provide unit test results documenting successful completion;
- Failures in System Testing or User Acceptance due to not meeting specified requirement must be minimized and should be caught in Unit Testing;
- System Integration Testing; and
- Review of migration requests and assisting other programmers with technical questions.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Five (5) or more years of meaningful experience using Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, PL/SQL in maintenance and new development programming in Oracle 10g/11g environments and Microsoft Windows;
- Strong ability to analyze and resolve difficult logic and timing issues in program code;
- Demonstrated experience in all phases of the software development life cycle;
- Formal testing experience to include System Integration Testing;
- Experience in leading technical design sessions;
- Strong documentation and written communication skills;
- Ability to work with business and technical staff in a team environment and independently;
- Ability to complete quality work under set schedules and time lines; and
- Familiarity with IT standard documentation and best practices.
