Outsource UK Ltd is actively seeking to recruit a Solution Architect for a contract role with one of our clients.
The Job:
A Solution Architect with experience of working on very large scale (10,000& users) technology transformation initiatives. This needs to be apparent on applicant CVs.
- Review and provide recommendations for high-level application and infrastructure designs/architectures
- Evaluate and recommend application and infrastructure options and solution designs
- Review applications and infrastructure footprint to identify consolidation and cost reduction opportunities
- Liaise with business process and application owners in order to understand and articulate business requirements
- Review and edit functional requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution
- Define testing plan and lead testing efforts
- Works with business process and business application owners to identify required changes and communicate needed changes to development team.
- Support project delivery (design & implementation) as required
- 10+ years of experience overall, 5+ years of experience as Solutions Architect/Technical Consultant for the required domain
- Expert knowledge with a demonstrated track record on very large scale technology transformation initiatives
- Knowledge of ITIL, ISO, Quality Management standards and best practices
- Demonstrated proficiency in adapting/tailoring best practices/processes to business needs
Skills Required:
- Domain experience will include the following based on the project and assignment:
- Enterprise applications - Oracle ERP, CRM, Content Management, Asset Management, Data Architecture, Databases, Enterprise Service Buses.
- Infrastructure - Virtualization, Infrastructure Services, Networking, Identity Management, Datacenters, Business & Continuity Management, Data Architecture, Microsoft Enterprise products.
